What are the recommended washing instructions?
Wash your swim shorts in cold cycle and hand dry. Avoid the dryer and the iron as these could shrink them. Although our fabrics are made to not fade in salt water or chlorine it is still a best practice to rinse them after use as pools with high chlorine content could fade the color.
How do our swim trunks fit?
Boto swim trunks have a tapered leg and are true to size. They fit like a tailored suit so if your suit pants are a 34 then choose a 34 in Boto.
What is the fabric composition?
Our men’s swim shorts are offered in a variety of Boto’s unique proprietary fabrics. Choose between nylon (polyamide), nylon / spandex stretch, 100% polyester microfiber or polyester / spandex stretch.
What are the different types of lining?
Boto offers 2 different lining options to create the ideal swim trunks for men. Our Aruba styles are lined through the leg to keep the wet fabric off your skin when you exit the water. There is no internal brief and these fit more like a board short.
The Cabo and Rio styles feature our proprietary Boto Pouch lining. This is a support lining made of ultra soft 4-way stretch mesh fabric.
What is the difference between the Aruba, Cabo and Rio styles?
The Aruba styles feature a fixed waistband, button closure and are lined through the leg with no internal brief. These boardshorts are available in two different inseam lengths. The 8.5” should hit just above the knee for a classic cut that looks great in and out of the water. The 6.5” hits mid-thigh or above the knee for men 5’ 9” or shorter. The 6.5” is our recommended length for an on-trend cut that still fits within most men’s comfort zone.
The Cabo and Rio swim trunks feature the Boto Pouch lining for support and comfort. Both styles are cut in our mid-thigh 6.5” inseam for the ideal beach-to-bar look.
What is your shipping policy?
We offer free outbound standard shipping on all our swim trunks for men. If you require express shipping there is an option to pay for a quicker service at checkout. Boto does not pay return shipping. Please send the swim shorts back with the courier of your choice to the address below and keep the tracking info for future reference.
